IRTimelapse Help

Camera type

Allows choosing the make of your camera. Some manufacturers have different codes for different devices, so make sure you try all available codes for your device. If set to Custom, the IR pattern textbox becomes visible.

IR pattern

Visible only if Camera type is set to Custom. Accepts space-separated RAW IR timings, commonly referred to as winlirc_raw.

Trigger mode

Sets the mode and timing of the IR transmitted signal.

Shutter speed

Visible only if Trigger mode is set to Timer. Defines the shutter speed (in seconds) of the camera when set to Timer (or Bulb) mode. Sets the time between the opening and closing of the shutter

Shutter delay

Defines the time (in seconds) between exposures. Should be less than the cameras shutter speed.

Trigger limit

Allows limiting the number of exposures taken. Can be set to a time and date, or the number of photos taken.

Test

Allows sending the IR signal without having to wait for the Shutter delay. Used for testing settings.
